get to know me

kaitlin-schuler-headshot

A graduate of Elizabeth Wiegner’s Transcript Proofreading Academy, I’ve proofed over 1,500 pages of court transcripts, and I am ready for more!

I grew up a bookworm outside of Chicago, and went on to the University of Michigan (BA in English) and Medill at Northwestern University (MS in Journalism) to geek out about words even further.

Now, I live in Kalamazoo, Michigan, with my husband, daughter, and our two-year-old cat, Ginny. When I'm not working or taking care of my family, I spin a different kind of yarn working through an endless list of crochet projects.

Here’s a picture of Ginny—attending her human sister’s tea party in all her orange, fluffy

glory—because I know the importance of paying the cat tax.

No picture of my husband or daughter, because we value our internet privacy!
